Amberfields Morgans is nestled on 55 grassy, rolling pastures in upstate NY. The owner, Judy Hinman has loved horses forever, and raised Morgans for 25 yrs. Their loving personality and athletic versatility make them a horse for all reasons and ideal family friends. Whether it be a snowy sleigh ride, a hunter pace, a parade, or a leisurely trail ride, our Morgans are willing participants. Working western and Lippitt lines are the basis for our breeding program as the breeds Old Type usable attributes are best seen here. As an added bonus Amberfields has specialized in the rare colors that can be found in Morgans.
Our pastures our decorated with palominos, buckskins, duns, grullas, cremes and greys, as well as conventional colors. Amberfields Premier stallion, Amberfields Desperado is the Morgan breeds #1 golden color producer, with over 100 palomino offspring. His homozygous creme color guarentees his foals will have a colorful gene. Also standing is the beautiful Windover Regency grandson SWMF Smokin' Man, and we stand the rare black full Lippitt, CC Obsidian. Amberfields is not a show stable, we'd rather be riding the trails or otherwise promoting Morgans at some expo or parade. Visitors are always welcome. Coffees on!
