Hereinafter called owner and the owner does hereby agree to have the said mare bred to

_________________________under the following terms and conditions.

The breeding fee shall be $______ and shall be paid by the owner to the breeder as follows.

$_____paid as a booking fee upon execution of this contract.

The balance of the breeding fee $______ shall be paid prior to departure of mare safely in

foal or before the 1st shipment of semen. Breeding season runs March 1st to August 1st.

Mare care rate $7 per day or $9 per day for mare and foal .

The breeder shall have the right to obtain all necessary farrier and veterinary services.

Mares are to have a current coggins and uterine culture. Hind shoes are to be removed.

The breeder shall not be responsible for injury , death, loss or damage to, or done by ,said mare (and foal). Insurance for mare (and foal), if any, shall be the sole responsibility of the owner. The owner shall indemnify and hold the breeder harmless therefrom. The owner, however, shall not be responsiible for damage to the stallion by the mare during breeding

The breeder guarentees to the owner a live colorful foal. A live foal is one that is able to stand and nurse for 24 hrs. In the event the foal dies, the breeder shall. be notified, with a statement from the veterinarian, within 10 days of the foals death or the guarentee is null. A colorful foal is palomino, buckskin, black or smokey black. Black can carry the dilute gene and hide it.These guarentees allow the breeder to rebreed and substitution of mares is allowed, with breeder's approval.

Owner is to have the mare examined by a licensed veterinarian between 18 and 35 days after last day bred and the breeder notified of her pregnancy status at that time or all live foal guarentees are null and void.

All charges to be paid in full by owner prior to departure of mare.
